Structure first, finish second
Every deck we build starts underground. Footings are dug to frost depth and inspected. Post connections use structural hardware, not toe-nailed lag bolts. Ledger boards are flashed to the house with stainless flashing and structural fasteners rated for the load — not deck screws through siding, which is one of the most common failures we tear out on rebuild jobs.
Composite, PVC, and hardwood decking
We install every major decking brand — capped composite, full PVC, ipe and other hardwoods, and pressure-treated wood when the budget calls for it. We help you weigh cost against maintenance and warranty. Railings, stairs, and lighting are integrated during design so the finished deck reads as one piece, not a kit assembled around a slab.
Rebuilds and remodels
A lot of our deck work is rebuilding decks that were installed poorly a decade or two ago. We can often reuse structural framing that's still sound, replace what isn't, and re-deck with modern materials — saving budget compared to a full teardown while ending with a deck that meets current code.
